Obituary of Frances A. Dzialo

Frances A. (Tricka) Dzialo, 90, of South Glastonbury, beloved wife of Alexander W. Dzialo for 65 years, died Saturday June 6, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. Born February 19, 1925 in Hartford, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Christian) Tricka, she was a lifelong resident of South Glastonbury. Prior to her retirement in 1990, she worked for the Federal Government Office of Personnel Management. Frances was a communicant of St. Augustine Church and a member and past-president of their Altar Guild and choir. Besides her husband she is survived by her seven children and their spouses; Patricia Dzialo, Elizabeth and Robert Klimasewski, Anne Dzialo, Thomas Dzialo and Jackie Allingham, Joseph and Leslie Dzialo, Mark and Susan Dzialo, Alex and Denise Dzialo, twelve grandchildren and a sister Marianne Grabowicz and her husband Victor and several nieces and nephews. She especially enjoyed holidays and made each one special, whether it was making pierogi for Christmas, dying Easter eggs or carving pumpkins in the fall. She made everything memorable. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 11 at 10am at St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Wednesday, June 10 from 5 to 8pm.
